Remember the old Disney song, “When You Wish Upon a Star?” Wouldn’t it be wonderful if your dreams really did come true? Although these are just lyrics and you don’t really have all your wishes come true, it is a lovely thought.
“When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, anything your heart desires will come to you.” Beautiful words, and if you believe strongly enough, maybe your dreams will come true. A strong belief and desire can attract your dreams, that is a proven fact!
Can you imagine if you wished upon a star, and it was named after you or a loved one? How cool would that be, looking into the clear evening sky and gazing at a star that is named especially for a family member, close friend or significant other? This wish IS possible – it isn’t a dream.
You can actually name a star for someone. How is this possible? There are many places online that allow you to do this. Some of the items you receive differ, but many send you a signed certificate, a sky map detailing the location of your special star, and a beautiful pendant in your choice of necklace or key chain.
Wouldn’t the words of this song have much more meaning if you were actually wishing upon your own star? Imagine the surprise of your loved one when they realize that an actual star exists in the sky that is their namesake. This is a loving, special way to give someone a gift that will last throughout eternity.
Think about the words to the song. “If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme, when you wish upon a star, as dreamers do, fate is kind.” People love stars, whether they are sparkling brightly in the sky, or falling as they make a wish. Who knows, maybe your dream will come true! Just believe with all your heart.
